  Hazards  What unsafe conditions or acts are there? SEE IT What could happen as a result of an unsafe act or condition? THINK IT What must be done to eliminate or minimize the hazard? DO IT  Hazards exist in our life, including at work, home, school and at social events. We need to develop skills to be able to recognize, evaluate and control these hazards before injury occurs.  What potential hazards exist in a class setting or other classes in the school? What hazards could be created in a class setting or other classes due to unsafe practices or poor safety procedures? Hazard Picture Assessment  - Review each picture - what are the hazards evident in each picture as linked. On Board: See It - (Recognize) What is unsafe?  Think It - (Evaluate) Why is it unsafe? Do It - (Control) What must be done to make it safe?  Group Work Assignment. x 4 Groups Scenarios. *Scenario 1 - we will do as a class. TTOC please take attendance as emailed.  Students: I am so so sorry. I am still really ill with the flu.  My goal is to be back Thursday :) So hopefully then I will see you again next on Wed Nov 23 (which seems really far away). Reminder - PD Day next Monday. Tasks for today -  1) We are starting our WorkSafe BC Unit. Your sub will go over Unit 1 with you today. John's Story. After the lesson (article review and video story) you will be provided time to complete the associated assignment for WorkSafe Unit 1 Teams Assignment 7: Injured Worker Profile. 2) PLEASE - go and update AGAIN your Assignment 5 and 6 work. You may think you are done your Cover Letter and Resume HOWEVER if you do not have a mark for these assignments and have not completed all suggested edits for these assignments (updating all my red changes to black) then you still have work to do on these assignments. Nov 10 2022 Time to update your edits on your Cover Letters (Teams Assign 5) & update/submit your Resume's (Teams Assign 6)

TTOC - please take attendance. Info as emailed. TTOC - I have signed out laptop cart #2 for you to utilize with students today. Please send my laptop retriever Micha up to get the laptops. Class list is under 'Misc' at the back of the laptop binder (when it comes down with the laptops). 1. Students! I have completed ALL edits on your submitted cover letters (Assign 5 on Teams). Please go to Assignment 5 & 6 on Teams and make all suggested updates and resubmit Assign 5 & 6 inside Teams. TODAY. E.g. you need to updated all RED edits and change all edits to black and resubmit. Deadline - Today.  Next: 2. Students -  NOTE:  If you have not submitted your first resume draft on Teams (Assign 6) today is your last full class day to do so!!!  Use your time wisely!!!

Questions to ask at the End of an Interview | Career Interview Tips Group Work Assignment. (Students - you know the drill - max group size 4 - extra paper at the front of the room - bottom shelf, sign out a pencil from the yogurt container if you need one) Groups - come up with 3 GOOD questions to pose at the end of an interview.  Be ready to present to the class.  15-20 min to work on your questions.
